Appalachian Sound and Color sets out to interview and understand artists, musicians, writers, and makers living in Appalachia. ASC does not strictly focus on each maker’s creative process, but rather their upbringing in Appalachia and how that steered them to create. The podcast also asks why each artist chose to stay and create here. ASC is hosted by Logan Schmitt and William Wallace. It is produced by Corey Knollinger who is also a part-time host.
